The short version
PipeGrade does not require an account, display ads, use analytics or advertising SDKs, or track you across apps and websites. The app does not transmit your projects, measurements, notes, photos, or sensor samples to PipeGrade or SupremeApp servers.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how PipeGrade, provided by SupremeApp ("we," "us," or "our"), handles information when you use the PipeGrade app on iPhone or iPad.
It does not govern Apple, email providers, cloud storage services, messaging apps, or other third-party services you choose to use with PipeGrade. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
2. Data processing
No developer-side collection
PipeGrade has no account system, developer-operated cloud database, advertising network, or analytics service. The app does not collect data for advertising, data brokerage, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
Information processed on your device
The following information is processed or stored locally so that the app can provide its features:
| Information | Purpose | Storage and transmission |
|---|---|---|
| Projects, pipe runs, stations, targets, notes, and tags | Plan work, organize field records, and create reports. | Stored in the app's local container. Not transmitted to us. |
| Motion sensor samples | Calculate live angle, slope, direction, and stability while the Measure screen is active. | Processed in real time on the device. Continuous raw sensor recordings are not stored or sent to us. |
| Saved measurement results | Record calculated slope, target, stability, calibration state, direction, and time. | Stored locally with the selected project or as an unassigned reading. Not transmitted to us. |
| Field photos you select or capture | Attach visual context to measurement records and reports. | An app-managed copy is stored locally. It is not uploaded by PipeGrade. |
| Preferences and local counters | Remember units, onboarding status, export numbering, and feature entitlement state. | Stored locally using Apple platform storage such as UserDefaults. |
3. Device permissions
Motion sensors
PipeGrade uses device-motion readings to provide live slope measurement. Processing occurs while the measurement feature is active. PipeGrade does not store a continuous history of raw sensor samples.
Camera
Camera access is requested only when you choose to capture a field photo. You can deny or later revoke access in iOS or iPadOS Settings. Planning, calculations, and measurements remain available without camera access.
Photo selection
When you use Apple's system photo picker, PipeGrade receives only the images you select. PipeGrade does not request broad access to browse your entire photo library.
Your control: You decide whether to use photo features and which images to attach. Avoid attaching confidential project documents or personal information that is not needed for the field record.
4. Purchases
PipeGrade Pro purchases and restoration are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Apple may provide PipeGrade with limited transaction and entitlement information, such as the product identifier, verification result, and current entitlement status, so the app can unlock purchased features.
We do not receive your payment card details, Apple Account password, or full billing information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
6. Retention and control
- Local projects, runs, measurements, notes, and attached photo copies remain on your device until you remove them or delete the app.
- Deleting a project removes its local runs, measurements, notes, and attached photo copies from PipeGrade.
- Previously exported files are independent copies and must be deleted from their destination separately.
- PipeGrade does not currently provide iCloud synchronization. Depending on your Apple device and backup settings, app data may be included in a device backup managed by Apple.
- Deleting the app generally removes its local app container from the device. Restore behavior may depend on your Apple backup settings.
Because local app data is not transmitted to us, we cannot access or delete it for you. Where applicable law provides privacy rights, you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information contained in support correspondence. We may need limited information to verify and process a request.
7. Support messages
The PipeGrade app does not transmit your data to us. If you voluntarily email support, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and device or app details you choose to provide. We use this information to answer your request, diagnose the reported issue, prevent abuse, and maintain a reasonable support record.
Email may be processed by our email service provider and transmitted through systems outside your country or region. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.
Do not send sensitive personal information, confidential plans, access credentials, payment card data, or unnecessary project documents in a support request.
8. Security and children
Security
Local data is stored within the app's sandbox and benefits from security protections provided by iOS or iPadOS and your device settings. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode, keep the operating system current, and review files before sharing them.
Children's privacy
PipeGrade is a professional field utility and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through a support message, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
9. Policy changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when PipeGrade's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected in the app or App Store listing when appropriate.
The privacy disclosures shown in the App Store should match the released version of PipeGrade. If a future version adds synchronization, analytics, online services, or other data processing, this policy and the App Store disclosures will be updated before or with that release.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact SupremeApp at support@supremeapp.cn. Please use the subject "PipeGrade Privacy Request" and describe your request without including unnecessary sensitive information.
